Most underwhelmingly executed fights
Most underwhelmingly executed fights
For me the most underwhelming one would have to be one armed gohan vs the androids, this was a fight that had me particularly excited because I really wanted to see how were they going to handle gohan's fighting style, and needles to say I was very disappointed because the fight lacked any real cool choreography or creativity. I still think it served it's purpose, but I really wish it was handled differently.

Re: Most underwhelmingly executed fights
All of Supers fights...
I was really excited for Goku & Beerus' first encounter after reading the preview manga. Of course we all know about episode five of Super... After that mess I thought things would pick up, boy was I wrong.. All of Supers fights have been totally forgettable, SSJG Goku vs. Beerus was a snore fest for me, all of the the Golden Freeza arc fights weren't any better, and the U6 arc fights I find start off alright but then they just fall flat, they're all executed poorly. That really saddens me. I really want to enjoy Super but I just can't... The comedy is good but the action is just so lackluster.

Super's getting a lot of heat baby! Which are justified imo.
Just watched Goku vs Frost. ROFL at its stupidity. Horrible animation & fight choreography.
Gohan vs Tagoma is thoroughly bland as well. Low-rung animation quality at its finest
As to answer the topic: 90% of GT fights
1. Goku vs Shadow Dragons like Pink Duck, Green Toad & freaking Mole were ugh!!!
2. Gohan vs Cell was hyped high as f***. Only to be executed super bad with generic punches & kicks. What happened to strategic movesets & techniques?
3. SSJGSSJ Goku vs Golden Frieza: crap-fest at best!

Re: Most underwhelmingly executed fights
Trunks versus Perfect Cell was pretty bad (especially in Z where they padded the rivalry between the two).
Also Gohan versus Buu. The training:fighting ratio is way off. Try to compare that with Goku on Kai's planet and his fight with the Saiyans.

Goku vs Freeza, because dear God that fight was tedious in the anime. Sucked all the feeling out of it.

Goku vs Freeza in F, both versions.
Re: Most underwhelmingly executed fights
This is my answer. Literally all of Super is the most underwhelmingly executed fights. It's not even a contest. GT is probably the next one, but Super is just the absolute worst. There has been a couple shining moments here and there, but most of the time it's garbage. Garbage that needs to cut away all the time so they can try and hide how much garbage there is. The most well known part of the franchise, is literally the weakest part of Super.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:All of Supers fights...

Gokuu vs Vegeta II ( Manga). I remember reading it and being " AW YEAH GOKU AND VEGETA ARE FIGHTING!! ", then a chapter later, it ended, without the reader seeing it.

Thankfully Toie gave us a well animated and choreographed fight that was worth the wait.soppa saia people wrote:Gokuu vs Vegeta II ( Manga). I remember reading it and being " AW YEAH GOKU AND VEGETA ARE FIGHTING!! ", then a chapter later, it ended, without the reader seeing it.

Actually I thought that fight was pretty underwhelming. And it might have good animation but I felt that the look was off.sintzu wrote:Thankfully Toie gave us a well animated and choreographed fight that was worth the wait.soppa saia people wrote:Gokuu vs Vegeta II ( Manga). Re: Most underwhelmingly executed fights
Agreed. Goku running at the speed of ordinary humans, a super magical rock hard enough to lock a super Saiyan's body... It's nothing but one of the typical lame filler fights. Both Goku and Vegeta look a million times stronger in their first fight.rereboy wrote:Actually I thought that fight was pretty underwhelming. I'm going to be that one guy and say Gohan vs Cell. What a non-fight that was.

Every.fight from super even some of the worst fights from z or part one is miles better then super fights don't understand this why the supee fights are so damn awful hell at times I feel like the fights from super are a parody of the franchise.
