Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Hey all,
So we know that each pair of universes that add up to 13 are a multiverse set. 1 and 12 are a multiverse and 6 and 7 are a multiverse. Omniverse encompasses all of them. Phew, okay, so now that I explained my choice for words ... what do you all think we'll see in the Omniverse Tournament?
I'd like this to be more open discussion than anything else because I haven't seen any topics on such a recent reveal.
Anyways, I'm feeling we're going to see some awesome Gods of Destruction. I'd be excited to see people that can defeat Whis and Vados.

They established that each of the multiverses are paired, and while details change, there are still overall similarities (both U7 and U6 had/have an Earth, Saiyans, Frieza's race, etc.). And even with that, we had a decent diversity in the new fighters (Cabba was a Saiyan and all familiarity that implies, but Magetta and Hit exhibited new paradigms of fighting.
I'm hoping for more of this (not to mention that they need to leave zero doubt that they're not just copying DB Multiverse). Take the DBZ fighting formula and stretch it as far as it'll go.
Twilight: My library?! My library!! Do you have any idea how many books I had in there?!
Lord Tirek: How many, little princess?
Twilight: Over NINE THOUSAND!!!

Actually it's "megaverse" that encompasses all the multiverses. Omniverse encompasses the real world as well.

I only hope it's not just the Goku and Vegeta show like the last tournament essentially was. I wanna see the other universe fighters get some time to shine. I'd also prefer if Universe 7 loses to only give Goku and Vegeta more rivals to beat and it would be cool if Universe 6 fighters improved. The tournament should also change up the formula of the tournament's to keep the fighters and the audience constantly on their toes. I can't wait to see some Gods of Destruction though

Actually I'm pretty sure all of these terms are nonsense and don't actually mean anything.

Maybe, but many comic books generally accept those terms and their concepts. And I think it's valid because it's better to organize and to understand how things works.

Marvel uses "Omniverse," without including the real world.
Roma is its guardian. The Captain Britain stuff used to deal with that every so often.
