Um...opening up a thread with a blanket statement, only to follow it immediately with 'you're wrong if you think this' in a one sentence explanation...is not exactly the best way to inspire conversation usually.

Not to mention, in this case? The saying is most definitely right in that art, like so many other things, is going to come down to an opinion at the end of the day. I'm not entirely sure if you mean art as in like 'the arts', or if you mean specifically like drawings, but I'm going to go on with the assumption you mean the latter. You're no doubt right that other artists are going to be all the more able to tell if something is actually really well drawn, or angled, or whatever it is they're specifically looking for at the moment, than your common everyday fan - but people in general are still capable of telling what it is they like and don't like, and thus what they find to be really good art versus what they find to be bad art.

Heck, for what it's worth, I actually do hold the opinion that Picasso is greatly overrated. But I can only draw well enough to sit there and go 'wow does that look nothing like what was in my head', so what do I know?

Are you talking about the problems with Super's animation? Because I agree, a lot of what I've seen is total shit(although I stopped watching around the end of the Freeza arc so maybe it has gotten better)but it would be really nice if you would elaborate.
