超(スーパー)サイヤ人・孫悟空 VS 宇宙の帝王・フリーザの大激闘が再び!
ドラゴンボール史で語り継がれる伝説の超人2大パワーの大激突が大迫力の4-Dアトラクションとなって登場。
Re-experience the fierce showdown between Super Saiyan Son Goku and space emperor Freeza!
This legendary clash of mighty super-humans passed down throughout Dragon Ball history makes its debut as a thrilling 4-D attraction.
It's said to premiere on 01 July 2016, which would fall on the first Friday of that month. It doesn't seem to state anywhere on how we watch it. Also what is not known is the length of running time for the CG animated Dragon Ball Z.
I think we had something like this with Jackson's King Kong a few years back. It would be a major stretch but this COULD possibly come here given the recent revival of interest in Dragon Ball here in the states. Last two films had red carpet premiers and I think Universal is now partnered with Funimation.
I wouldnt hold my breath but if there was perhaps enough demand, I could see us getting this here if only for a brief time.
I'm really interested to see this. I've always thought that Dragon Ball could work with CG animation. If it's anything like some of the video game openings (Budokai Tenkaichi and Raging Blast 2) then I'll definitely want to see it.
Maybe if this is well received we could see a completely CG animated Dragon Ball feature length film in the future.
Dragon Ball, and Japan as a whole, have a had a very rough history with CG animation. Let's hope this turns out at least decent.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

You watch it in the park. It is a theme park attraction.
As such, my guess is that it will probably be no more than 15 to 20 minutes long.

That wasn't a trailer, it was a cam of the full feature.
Full feature? THere's a dragonball thing being showed at Universal Studios? Is this that 4D thing?
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.
