Thoughts on Black Goku?

Wow, so it seems like fans are going to get their wish granted and we finally get an evil Goku. Man, it seems like future Trunks just can't seem to get a break. I am interested to see what Black Goku looks like.

If he's anything like Turles from Movie 3 than I am completely disinterested. We've already seen "evil Goku" and he's just a generic Saiyan/Radditz clone.

An interesting theory would be that he isn't a saiyan at all; could be some evil entity that just merely took the apperence of Goku, considering Goku died of the heart virus in Trunks timeline, there is no way it is Goku. Unless the evil entity took control of dead Gokus body and inherited all his powers and abilities.

This is someone else's idea, I liked it: the one where he still has the same cheerful battle-hungry personality as Gokû except he's got no humanity to him; he doesn't care who gets hurt on his battle-lust quest for someone strong enough to take him on. Like something happened to him that messed him up bad and as a result all that's left of him is broken up inside.

I have zero thoughts on Goku Black because we have basically no information about the concept beyond the name and that Trunks barely escapes from he/she/it. That's not really enough to form much of an opinion on.

MY Goku Black is the Wicked Avatar from Yugioh with Goku's hair.

Either that or Cthulhu. With Goku's hair.

It would be really creepy to see Goku just committing mass genocide with a cheerful smile on his face. That's the stuff of nightmares.

TBH; I've never really liked the idea of an ''Evil Goku''. I prefer brand new enemies, oh well... Tori better not mess this up.

So far, I don't like Black Goku as an idea... But my bet is on Dr. Gero's involvement with this creature against Goku himself.(Like other androids, cyborgs and Cell)

I'm really hesitant to the idea of Evil Goku, but we'll how it plays out. I honestly don't have any kind of high hopes that the concept will be that intriguing.

Turles had a more interesting character than Broly, and he didn't have three movies.


As for Black Goku, it's just beating the dead horse that is Dragon Ball Super at this point.

The original had a lot of death and destruction so that's what would probably happen if it did this story but Super would never go that far.
