Hi, I'm looking for this boxset, it contains the 42 Dragon ball perfect edition (Kanzenban) volumes. I can't find it anywhere... Does anyone of you own this or know where to find it? For me, this would be the holy grail (appart from the dragon boxes) .
The closest thing to it that I have found is this item from yahoo auctions japan, but it is damaged...

If someone knows where I can get one, please PM me.
thanks

From the
entry on Pekindaq's blog those first 3 images belong to, this was the prize you could win by sending in the contest tickets included on the
obi for DB
kanzenban volumes 33 and 34, and the
Dragon Ball Forever guidebook, back in 2004. There were only 500 winners, so the box was not only never commercially available (either 12 years ago or now), but super-rare. Pekindaq has one because that's the kind of collector he is. My best advice would be to scour auction sites in Japan. Don't know what to tell you otherwise.
The one in that last image is available through Lawson/HMV as a boxed set including all 34 volumes;
you can still get it new, but it'll set you back ¥34,272 (~$312.59 US)... and you'll need to figure out your own solution for getting it to your home country.

Funny, but I thought that, of all the official releases, the Philippines Greatest Rivals VHS was the holy grail. The Kanzenban aren't that hard to find, even if they aren't in a fancy no set. The Greatest Rivals VHS at this present moment only exist as a LQ realmedia file, and even that is rare...

He's talking about the Filipino English dub of Movies 5 and 6, which were both released on VHS in 1996. This is the dub made by Creative Product Corps. The tapes are about as rare as those Harmony Gold VHSes of the DB movies.

No, why would it? It's fiction. The strength of the characters is not possible to reach in reality.
I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I guess I'll use this thread to ask about my personal holy grail:
The Terebikko VHS. I swear it doesn't even pop up on Yahoo Auctions. Is this thing even possible to find anymore? And if so, how much does it usually sell for?

At least the Harmony Gold movies are available on the internet at a decent quality. The Philippine rips available on the internet look and sound terrible. I feel like its hard to accurately give an opinion on the dub until somebody makes a new, HQ rip of it (or at least the audio)

I have two Dragon Ball address books where it's like the size of playing cards where they come together by magnet and when you pull them apart, these pieces of paper unfold for you to write people's address, phone number, etc. Pretty sure that's rare... or not lol

I saw the same thing on Japan Auction Center but since it was damaged it kinda made me not buy the box. Idk what I will do since the listing is ending soon.

I wish I could find that VHS, I do actually own the soundtrack CD for the Creative Products Corp. dub which is also extremely rare (though you can easily find the songs themselves online).

A bit perfect FLAC rip of the Songs of a High Spirited Saga cd would be awesome. Granted, so would a bit perfect rip of the digital audio of all the db movie laserdiscs (both japanese and pioneer english...not sure if any other db laserdiscs exist)

They might not even exist; but legends speak of "Big Green" dubs for DBZ movies 10-13. If they could be proven to exist and found that would probably be like finding Atlantis.
Also the "Big Box" which contains the broadcast audio for the episode where Vegeta blows himself up is said to be pretty rare. Oh and I've never seen the two VHS tapes for Plan to Eradicate The Saiyans.

True, it's uncertain if AB Groupe english dubs exist for DBZ movies 10-13...
perhaps we should be looking for the dubs that, while still rare, we definitely have confirmation that they *do* exist...namely AB Groupe's DB Movies 1-3 and the DBGT special.

I know they did movies 1-2 and the GT special but I honestly haven't seen anything confirming that they did the 3rd DB movie though I could just be unaware of whatever proof exists.
