Ominking tournament the final arc of Super???

Why many fans think this will be the final arc??? It makes no sense i mean we will see for the first time 10 new gods of destructions and possible 50 new characters when every team has 5 fighters

Think about they have huge possibilities to make more arcs after that with all those new characters..

1.. Zeno will train Goku after the tournament?? Look how they shaking hands together at the end of the tournament it feels like it will happen because Zeno likes Goku..

2...Vegeta goes to planet Salad(after the tournament???) Maybe the reason to become the king of planet salad like his father??

3...Hit and Goku will become more friends after the tournament??(Goku will save his ass?? maybe you know how Dragonball works

4...10 other universes and other gods to learn more about them??

5...Planet earth in universe 6??(remains a mystery)

In the series, they have introduced 12 universes.
And we have seen only a few characters of the sixth universe. I doubt they show them all in a single saga, it would mean losing narrative material for hundreds of episodes as well as play a titanic work in creating so many new characters all at once, and if Dragon Ball is back on TV has made to stay. As long as the ratings are these and so much merchandise sells, I doubt that the series will come to an early conclusion.

Like it or not, Dragon Ball is a commercial brand: long will this global support, I highly doubt that will end soon.

Last but not least, the will of Zeno could be a fine phrase to herself launched at the end of the saga, typical of shonen: "can't wait to fight you again", "next time I'll win", "us we should do it again! " etc.

18 Universes and we have not even reach 55 episodes yet. And you guys must be crazy if you think super will not have over hundreds of episodes and have a bunch a new worlds,characters and races.

Dragon Ball Super is a NEW long-running series and will go on forever until the merchandise stop selling just like with Star Wars,Warcraft,DC,Mario,Zelda,Marvel,Pokemon,Yugioh and Warhammer people seem forget that the biggest long running series were very small worlds when they first started out.

There's an HIGH chance omnitournament will end the global first season.
What will come next, if any, will have umpredictable premises (maybe a quick GT retell and after a new generation, who know?).

But also, high chances the tournament will be a free for all, not a team match. 50 characters in a single arc? NO WAY.
There's no hint about universe vs universe competition like Champa arc did for plot pourposes, but a contest to find who's the stronger in the whole population of the 12 universes.

Given the success of the Anime, I don't think the staff has even cogitated a final arc yet. Of course, we'll eventually have the Omni King tournament, but I think that won't be even close to the last arc. For me, those tournaments serve the same purpose as they did in DBZ and especially DB: a way to introduce new character that will have some importance in the long run. So, at least for me, this tournament, like the previous one (U6 vs U7), will introduce new characters and a new story, only.

? If each universe has 5 five fighters which seems to be the case. Then that means we could be getting 40 new alien characters and Whis already stated that all of the gods of destruction(12 characters) are going to bring their fighters from their respective universes and that also includes their attendants(12 characters).
This COULD happen, we will just have to find out what happens.

It would be interesting if we had preliminaries to this tournament, similar to the TB. We could get some action from characters who would otherwise probably get none, while still being able to focus the actual arc on the characters Toriyama/Toei want to push forward.

Power scaling in Super makes no sense. Then there is the manga canon and the anime canon. Timeline problems can't be ignored. Also Toei's production schedule mess.
