If you were to create a moment between the Supreme Kai of Time and Xeno Trunks, what would it be?
Would it be serious, angst, or comical? Which do you prefer, people?

Why would she refer to Trunks as 'Future'?

In any case, I suppose friendly? They have a strict working relationship together and I think Trunks is due for embarrassing her instead, for once. Beyond that, their dynamic works well for what it is. The most you could go further is insert them into different scenarios to see how they would respond to it.

A light-hearted and touching scene, maybe? Like maybe SKOT comes clean to Trunks about how she lied to him for company, saying that he's free to leave at any time; then just having Trunks assure her that he'll always be here or somthing. Or a badass scene of them kicking ass.
