Anime-Manga Comparison Gifs

Hey everyone! I have recently started creating comparison gifs of the anime and manga. Essentially, I take a page from the manga, remove all of the panels (but leave the borders), add in the corresponding footage from the anime, and then after 2-4 seconds it transitions to the manga page. It is probably easier to just look at my work than trying to read my describe it.

I will keep this thread up to date with any new gifs that I make.

Interesting format! My biggest problem with the manga is how the fighting suffers without motion. A semi-animated version of the manga (especially for fight scenes and stuff where motion is really necessary) could, in theory, become my favorite way to watch/read the series...who knows?

Also, of the scenes shown, the Freeza scenes look fairly different in comparison to the manga and anime, while the Boo scenes actually look fairly similar

This is some really nice stuff. I always found it fun to find the shots that directly correlate with the manga. If I were to suggest a scene I'd like to see it would probably be Goku vs. Tenshinhan at the 23rd Budokai.

Thanks! I might do that. I was going to do something pre-Z for my next project, so I'll put that in my list of potential ideas for the next project.

I found that interesting too. I had to do a little tinkering with the Freeza gif. In panel 3, the anime and manga don't match up perfectly. There isn't a direct shot of that panel, so I had to figure something else out to use.

Thanks man. A lot of people that have seen my stuff have said the exact same thing. When I have time away from grad school, maybe I'll work on doing a full iconic chapter like this. It would be neat to see that I think.
