Should Toonami air BATTLE OF GODS & RESURRECTION 'F' before SUPER?

It would be a wiser choice in my opinion to NOT air the movies beforehand, as it would create confusion as the stories are different.
As a creative decision, it would just make sense to air SUPER after "BOO KAI" it would give the weekly tension to the casuals, "Who is this cat and his homosexual attendant?" "Oh wow next episode he is transforming into something red!" instead of "We already seen this why do we have to sit here for weeks to see the same thing again?!"

They should air the movies and skip the Beerus and Golden Freeza arcs. (And release the first 27 episodes as direct to video.)

I don't see them airing the movies (this will affect the dvd sales) but I can definitely see them making cheezy commercials with the movies like "buy the dvd and see the true best animation".
It would also be pretty smart.
If I were a kid I would love to see the "good stuff".

Because airing movies that'll be two to four years old by that point will effect DVD sales of the movies? Making the first two arcs direct to video would probably help drive DVD sales for them by creating demand for what wasn't aired on TV, like their "Lost Episodes" thing with GT.Mazingerdestro wrote:I don't see them airing the movies (this will affect the dvd sales) but I can definitely see them making cheezy commercials with the movies like "buy the dvd and see the true best animation".
And isn't Toonami in the middle of the night? How many little kids are watching TV at that hour?Mazingerdestro wrote:If I were a kid I would love to see the "good stuff".

Or air 2 episodes a week until they get to the Champa arc.SaiyamanMS wrote:They should air the movies and skip the Beerus and Golden Freeza arcs. (And release the first 27 episodes as direct to video.)
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

ideally yes. man it kinda sucked watching the golden freeza arc after already watching the movie.SaiyamanMS wrote:They should air the movies and skip the Beerus and Golden Freeza arcs. (And release the first 27 episodes as direct to video.)
I'm guessing theyll show it from start to finish. the longer the show runs for the more money they get. hell, if they could they would try to make some extra filler episodes just to fucking drag it on.

Well, it is on the weekends and a lot of people have DVRs now if they're interested yet can't stay up to watch it, note it airs after FAMILY GUY which a lot of U.S children watch just fine, even though it's a lot raunchier.SaiyamanMS wrote:Because airing movies that'll be two to four years old by that point will effect DVD sales of the movies?
