[RoF Movie] After Frieza blew up Earth, why didn't the crew just go to Namek?

I mean, Goku could get to Namek through a combination of going to King Kai's and then to Namek. They could wish back Earth, and detect Frieza's power, then kill him.

Was it not worth it, or was it just impractical?

Plus, they can still sense Frieza's energy. Given the fact that Frieza was near Earth, they could (possibly) revive the Earth somewhere else. Maybe. Probably not.

Well, Goku could use IT to get to Namek and scour for the Dragonballs in less than an hour, but because Whis can manipulate time that would be pointless.

It's easier to do whi's time trick, but umm...the fact they forgot about namek was dumb. They acted like they had no options left, but they DID. It's just that whis's trick was faster and easier. But less cool. IMo. A dragonball hunt and a rematch >>>>just one more Kamehameha.

You expected them to go like:

Oh planet got blown up, Goku go port to new Namek and ress earth......That is heartless.

They were in shock, they couldnt believe Freeza actually managed to destroy earth after he was kneeling down in defeat.

I'm sure if Whis wouldnt have said anything. They would have gone to new Namek and ressed earth back, but since Whis offered to turn back time so quickly, there was no need to even discuss it.

although it's funny to think, technically there are characters who probably never died in the explosion, like Buu. Possibly the Androids too, assuming they don't need to breath.
