Has Vegeta's dreams of conquest been revived?

Post by DragonBallFoodie » Tue Aug 09, 2016 5:20 pm

With the appearance of alternate universe Saiyans, would you say his desire to conquer has reawakened? Vegeta has always strived to be the strongest in the universe, but with him being second-best to Goku this has been reduced to just wanting to beat Goku. Now, with the appearance of other Saiyans, I think he may have acquired a desire to lead his people down a path of glory, wishing them to become the best in the universe.

This was seen when he gave Cabba and Trunks pep talks: he advised that they shouldn't be content with their victory, but go forth and beat everyone before them. So I believe he could be wanting to conquer the universe as he wished before, but it remains to be seen whether he will act on that desire or not.
"Don't take pleasure in destruction!" / "I will not let you destroy my world!"
A true hero goes beyond not the limits of power, but the limits that divide countries and people.

No Vegeta just wants his son to be strong enough to be able to defend his own future and those he cares about.

Cabba is him taking on a student whom he could one day have a great fight with.

How awesome would it be to see Vegeta's pupil Cabba face Goku's Pupil Uub.

I don't think so. Vegeta is all go and no show in Super. Mr. Fanservice basicly. I wouldn't expect him to do anything in this series honestly other than look really cool and crush canon fodder before getting owned just to make goku look good. He's become a 2 dimensional character in this series. I just can't imagine Vegeta or any of Z's cast getting any development in this show. The development and plot advancement will come from Super's cast.
