Could Dragon Ball Super Depict Violence Toward a Female Character?

I'm posting this because I'm curious about whether people think that a modern day anime like Dragonball Super could depict some heavy violence towards a female such as Videl vs Spopovich in DBZ.

the only anime I really have to compare it to is One Piece and that generally doesn't have women get physically beaten up too violently.

Is hard violence towards women a thing of the past in Shonen anime now?

Pffft, it's 2016, we warped the definition fo equality a while ago! Now it's just the posatives without any of the negatives that come with it.

Even though I'm fully for equal beatings, this thread feels... Weird?

Though more a violent scene like Videl's beatdown will not happen in Super, that is way to graphic for Super now a days. So, any beatdown won't be that graphic. Especially since there are no female fighters in the show that would be in the line of fire at the moment. But the mutiberse tournament could offer some more female fighters, but I doubt any beatdown will be that bad. Funny thing is, if Dragonball Z had been made in the past few years, the internet would of gone insane with anger over that Videl scene.

Anime standards havn't changed, it's just that Dragonball Super is more toned down then Z when it comes to violence against anyone.

What I really hope is that Super gets Pan right. So far I've liked how she's been shown, even if she is just a baby. lol

Japan doesn't care about American and Western European political correctness so yes, it can happen and probably does but I doubt it will in Super cause like Kanassa said, it's toned down compared to Z so we probably won't even see someone like Vegeta get beaten up like that.

I think towa is hotter anyways. More likely to be made into a pillow. And isn't it a pre requisite to be a pillow to be a waifu?
