Least favorite episode in the whole anime franchise?

My least favorite BY FAR is the "fake Namek" episode, it is simply unbearable! Not only is it a lame plot, it shows Namekian models before, in my opinion, they should have been shown.

What is your least favorite? Can be from DB, DBZ, DBGT, SUPER, or a movie, but it has to be in the anime franchise.

I hate the Dragonball Z dub of the episode where Master Roshi is explaining the history of the Red Ribbon Army to Maron. It created the General Tao, and implied Goku had faced off against Gero personally before.

This was when Funimation were relatively new, but it is just bad.

There were like 3 episodes on New Namek.

My least favorite episode in the series has to be either the Ginyu/Tagoma episode in DBS or some random filler episode during the Namek arc. The Ginyu/Tagoma thing was handled SO poorly that I legitimately got annoyed and frustrated. The Namek filler stuff is just straight up bad.

Ah, forgot as I haven't seen the filler in quite some time. I get the point but I must point out New Namek is not what the fake Namek was called :p

That reminds me of the TUFFLES explanation by KAIO, which in retrospect is a horrible thing to do in filler, that being, creating seemingly canon plots and ideas and having to fix / ignore it later.

I really didn't like that episode in Super where Gokuu and Beerus are fighting in space and then, for some strange reason, they start laughing. The way they laughed was weirdly cringey to me but that loud, garbage, disco, trash playing in the background really sealed the deal for me as to how bad it was. I wouldn't call it my least favorite but I can't think of anything else at the moment. That one track may be the worst single piece of Dragon Ball music I've ever heard. It even beats "Bulma and The Frog".

Not gonna lie I thought that episode was entertaining, at least. My least favorite episodes are probably the whole Garlic Jr. arc, or Ressurection F arc in Super.

Besides eps 11,38,39,43,47,48 and 50 I find all of Super's episodes boring and not worth watching again. As for the original series the entire Garlic Jr.arc while not as bad as Super arcs is my least favorite. The Super no.17 arc of GT is as bad as the Garlic Jr. arc so that too.

DB - I can't really say for sure. I thought the episode with Goku going to the Fire Mountain at the end of the show was pretty boring.
DBZ - Anything from the Garlic Jr. saga
GT - Goku vs. Cell and Freeza. Turn two great villains into child's play
Super - Goku vs. Copy Vegeta. Just plain stupid in my opinion.

Super : the Copy arc.

It's a mix between the Cell/Frieza episode in GT where both villains basically got the middle finger, and the filler episode in the Buu saga that was basically Super Buu has the shits.

The episode in GT where Goku says he's an Earthling and not a Saiyan. That line just pisses me off to no end to this very day. Bulma fighting giant crabs, the Fake Namek bullshit and any episode featuring Maron also just grinds me gears.

I totally agree. Super 17 saga just give all of the villains cameos and 90% of them are killed off screen. It always made me angry why they did. I think having Gohan killing Radditz and Vegeta seeing King Vegeta would have been cool. Not to mention having Krillin, #18, Yamcha and Tenshinhan fight off the evil villains from Hell would have been great as well. I would love to see Krillin kill Tambourine for pay back.

It's a hard competion between all episodes of the Wedding Dress filler arc in DB. I can't say which one is the winner.

Since everyone else already is picking episodes I would already pick first, I'm just gonna throw in all the Princess Snake filler and when Goku goes to hell the first time and meets Goz and Mez, those episodes felt unnecessary and pointless.

that episode bored me to tears, struggled to pay attention to it.

other than that, the Garlic Jr arc, especially anything with fan service Maron. also that episode of Super where they had flashbacks to stuff that happened 2 episodes ago take up half the episode.

When Krillin, Bulma and Gohan stumble upon those orphans in space. Those two episodes are the only ones I had to skip when binge watching the show. They were just way too boring.
