Broly's green Super Saiyan form, is a unique form?

Now that we have Super Saiyan God which is red, Super Saiyan Blue, Super Saiyan Rose, etc....now let us go back and discuss Broly.

As we know Movie 8 appeared to take place during the 7 day wait for the Cell games to start. Meaning everyone was in a Super Saiyan form slightly above a normal Super Saiyan. Broly's green legendary super saiyan hair placed him above all those characters and probably slightly below a SSJ2.

Do you now consider Broly's green hair a unique Super Saiyan form nobody else got considering the new canon forms in Super? Is Legendary Super Saiyan a special green hair form nobody else got?

The green tint to Broli's Super Saiyan forms in Movie 8 is never really given any attention, and the guidebooks and such don't make any mention of it that I'm aware of. Then some time later in Movie 10, Broli's got the same gold shade of hair and energy as anyone else in both his Super Saiyan and "Legendary" forms.

There were some weird and interesting coloring techniques used by Toei in Movie 8, so Broli's green may have just been a stylistic choice. Otherwise, I'm fond of the theory that the green tint in Movie 8 was a lingering after-effect of Paragus' control device messing with Broli's ki for so many years, and it had simply worn off by the events of Movie 10.

I believe that many of the things that were made complex during the Cell saga (ascending through grades, not ascending and going full power, ascending again) had an effect on Broly's characterization. He's not as simple as an evil and murderous Super Saiyan that can be turned on at will, and while his colors were unique, his bulkiness came at a time when Trunks' Grade III SSJ was still present. So I was like "what?", and then considered that it was just his nature that had been suppressed in a lesser form (Restricted Super Saiyan, or so I believe), if not his base.

The Boo saga made things much more iconic looking, and by the time we got to it, Broly had been designed with a much simpler progression. He's a Super Saiyan and then a hell trasher and bulky mother fucker that can put a dent on SSJ2 Gohan. It made sense, because the designs were not contradicting their power, but his motivations to keep that form locked under SSJ did not work. While I do appreciate the fact that Broly looked better (as drawn in concept, because Movie 10 has some weird shots), the build up and reasoning behind his form paled in comparison to his most complex progression in Movie 8. The green tint is just as Kaboom explained, but I guess that you could theorize that a SSJ Green is stronger than even the most powerful SSJ, down to the color energy being higher.

a trivia: in movie 10,Broly's hair has green shadows while gohan's has brown shadows.

I honestly think the control device theory fits best, as his hair actually starts to waver between green and the standard gold color in the final clash of Movie 8 (and Goku's becomes green at one point, oddly).

Given that fact, I don't know why they (Yamamuro?) started making his hair darker and darker shades of green over the years.

It's quite simple, really. It's all about Paragus' control device. When Broly goes regular Super Saiyan while under the influence of the device, his hair is blueish green. After he broke out of the device's restraint and went LSSj his hair and aura still had a greenish tinge, due to the aftereffects of the device. But you'll notice that at the end of the movie his hair and aura both already reverted to the classic gold, and they remained this way in movie 10.
