Yajirobe - Now most useful human in Super?
A lot of people moaned about the lack of Yajirobe in the new wave of dragonball media since 2013. With people just wanting to see him make an appearance.
He hadn't made an appearance in Super until episode 43, and since then has appeared in 3 more episodes.
But with his recent rescue of Goku and Trunks has that catapulted him to the most useful z fighter human in the series thus far? Heck maybe not even just humans, arguably he's done a deed more Significant than anything Piccolo has done in Super.
He's even grown a kickass beard.
I don't think a couple of weeks ago people expected Yajirobe to be present in the resistance and actively doing something having seen him essentially inactive since the Saiyan Saga. I think his presence is definitely down to Toriyama (no evidence but I'm assuming Toei don't particularly care for him).
The thing is with his involvement in the resistance he is sure to have some more screen time this arc.
How does everyone else feel about a return to form for one of Dragonball's forgotten characters?

If we're talking about all earthlings, Bulma is by far the most useful one.
Yajirobe only did something now. I suspect Toriyama has something planned for him, but for now it's just wishful thinking.
If we're talking about this arc, he's not more useful than Bulma or Mai.
As for the Dragon Team, yes he's been more useful than the other fighters in this arc, besides Goku,Vegeta,Trunks, Beerus and Whis.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

You didn't hear when the resistance said Yajirobe only appears when there is food around? Yajirobe dragged Goku and Trunks away and that's all. What about Mai who saved Trunks countless time using her flash grenade?
Re: Yajirobe - Now most useful human in Super?
Bulma already got more screentime in Super than any of the other main cast after Goku/Vegeta.
Re: Yajirobe - Now most useful human in Super?
Sure, but after Bulma and Mai.

He has always been the most useful human after Bulma and Krillin. He saved Goku during the Picolo Daimao saga and the Saiyan Saga. Sure, it doesn't seem like a lot, but who else, among humans, has been so helpful to Goku?. ( Only being the bean-carrier makes him already more useful that Yamcha or Chiatzu, but that's another story).
Really, he's just keeping his trend in Super.
PD: He also had way more screen time in the movies than the other human warriors (again, except Krillin). But so does Oolong....

Well Mr. Satan has helped out a lot too during both the Android and Buu arcs. Bulma is and will always be the series champion for useful normal human but I think the person most deserving of praise is Future Mai and her solders. She and her men have fought tooth and nail against Black and even though they have never hurt him, their efforts are responsible for allowing humanity to survive as long as it has. Its true that they have been backed up by Trunks but he cannot be everywhere and Mai was able to get her men to hold out long enough for Trunks to come back.
Plus she has successfully used conventional weaponry, Flash Bang Grenades and Tear Gas, to distract their advisories. Something none else has done in the series to my knowledge.

"Hey, we need a character that usually rescue people, avoid fight and quickly escape. Let me think..."
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

Re: Yajirobe - Now most useful human in Super?
Yajirobe has appeared in more episodes this arc than Gohan and Goten.
I may have jumped the gun as people pointed out Bulma/Mai. Maybe it would be better to say the most useful Z fighter bar Goku/Vegeta/Trunks.
I think the way Super has toyed around with weaker tactics injuring people (Gas on black Zamasu, Poison on Goku/Piccolo, Laser ring on Goku), we could potentially see Yajirobe doing a slash on somebody (one can dream).
He literally ran right next to Zamasu and Black to drag them away. He may have previously been cowardly in the resistance but that was a brave thing for him to do.Grimlock wrote:You didn't hear when the resistance said Yajirobe only appears when there is food around? Re: Yajirobe - Now most useful human in Super?
I'd say Bulma is still the most useful human in Super considering without her, Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks wouldn't have even been able to go to the Future Trunks' timeline in the fist place.
Spoiler:
Re: Yajirobe - Now most useful human in Super?
Bulma with her technological background has definitely been the most useful in Super. Now in the DB series overall? I would still give it to Bulma. She's always the one who is creating the gadgets and ships necessary to get the characters where they need to go. Combatively speaking, however, Yajirobe might be high up the list. The only one who could outrank him in that respect is Krillin. Tenshinhan deserves some recognition as well since he did help save Goku from Daimao's wave attack.

Bean Daddy is great. Loved seeing him actually do something besides handing out beans for the first time since way back in the saiyan arc when he cut off Vegeta's tail.
