Can our next arc villian be a woman?
The last strong lady we had was #18. Maybe even one of the tournament fighters. I dunno, I just wanna see some strong women that I don't gotta use the video games to simulate.

Would be nice to change things up.

Maybe, if you could get one out of the kitchen long enough.

Strong Women in general are lacking from this series all together. I'd really like to see what Vados can do, we all know Pan is going to break the world but man... like c'mon.

Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
I've always wondered how Dragon Ball would handle the concept of a female villain who would be the encompassing villain of an arc. So far, the ONLY one I see working at the moment is Towa. But even then, there's no guarantee that villains from DBH and/or Xenoverse will appear in DBS.
Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
I'm all for new things but why a woman and why a villain? Can't it just an ally? Or a wise character?
We haven't had human villains since the Androids and they're technically not human. Meaning we haven't had any since Tenshinhan. At this point it isn't even being picky about sex, we haven't had humans in forever!
The Gods are asexual, right? Zamasu honestly could either way, if they gave him a more neutral voice.

Insert obligatory "maybe XV shit might get brought into Super!" comment here.
And by XV shit, I specifically mean Towa.

When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

About time we get a strong independent woman who don't need no man as a villain. I mean come on, IT'S THE CURRENT YEAR.

We already had Freeza hitting on Goku in the english dub. Now we have Black acting flamboyant...
I can see where this is going.

It would be nice to have a female villian...Like a lot of fans were waiting for Vados being this villain with white hair! But it wasn't =/
You can say Whis is a male, and Vados is a female...
Beerus and Champa are male.
Or all the Kaioshins are male, except the Chronoa and West Kaioshins.
And all Kai are male, except East Kai.
Even the old Kaioshin fused with a Witch is 100% male (even moustache he has).
So if you put a neutral voice in Zamasu for example, he would sound like a gay because Zamasu is phisically a male (like Piccolo). This would be really weird.
Of course you can't say they are man or woman...But all phisics aspects are defined.LightBing wrote: The Gods are asexual, right? Zamasu honestly could either way, if they gave him a more neutral voice.

A Goddess of Destruction is what I'm still hoping for. I guess I wouldn't mind whether she was good or evil, though.

Ironically, one of the first villains in the series was a woman:

It would be unfair, women power up significantly every month, for about a week, with Oozaru mood.
Jokes aside, i'd love to .

That would be interesting.
"Don't take pleasure in destruction!" / "I will not let you destroy my world!"
A true hero goes beyond not the limits of power, but the limits that divide countries and people.

Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
How many canonical female villains has Toriyama actually made? Let's see... There's Mai (as said before), Colonel Violet (appeared in all of one panel), and #18 (longest running and most prominent but still living in the shadow of Cell in terms of notoriety). That's it! You know in retrospect, it's astounding how few female fighters there were, let alone villains. I knew DB was primarily a male-dominated series but I never knew by how much it was centred around the men.
To answer the question, I would love to see a main female antagonist. They're sorely lacking in DB. We haven't had one since the cyborg arc and she was only a subsidiary. There's never been a primary antagonist who was female from what I recall.

Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
Seriously though Vados had potential to be a villain but I would doubt now that they'll go that route.
Still there's another 10 Gods of Destruction to introduce yet, no reason why one couldn't be a female and also be a villain. There was really no reason why Zamasu couldn't have been a female.

Dragon Ball /Z/GT/Super is a children's show and there's nothing wrong with that.

Kai people are born from fruits on a magic tree, so technically they're asexual. The only female Kai people we've seen are in filler and video games.Bullza wrote:There was really no reason why Zamasu couldn't have been a female.
