something i noticed that doesn't add up.
A few episodes ago when they were chilling at some house in the future Zamasu suggested Black become immortal too by using the Super Dragon Balls. But it was later revealed that the Super Dragon Balls were destroyed beyond repair by them! So why did Zamasu suggest such a thing? Did he forget? They can't use the time rings to travel to the past. While the dragon balls in the furter future are also destroyed ofcourse. So.. Are we talking about a possible plothole here?

They can probably go to another timeline if they have access to the time ring room-thingy

he did not suggest that I'm pretty sure he said something along the lines:''you should have wished for immortality like me''

No they can't travel to the past with the time rings. And their main timeline/trunks' future (and beyond) super dragonball's are inert..Kanassa wrote:They can probably go to another timeline if they have access to the time ring room-thingy
zamasu121 are you sure about that? Was that a mistranslation i saw then?

I said go to another timeline, by using a different time ring. A timeline where the Super Dragonballs ave not been esploded.GodVegetto91 wrote:No they can't travel to the past with the time rings. Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
That doesn't work like i already stated. Everything in the past is forbidden to travel to. While the future and beyond is hopeless, because the damage has already been done. (Destroyed "beyond repair")Kanassa wrote:I said go to another timeline, by using a different time ring. Anyways.. While Batman's Version (DT in disquise) has Zamasu indeed suggesting that Black "Should have" chosen to. Herms' summary still has "Black why don't you?".
Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
But they still exsist in another timeline, any timeline where black didn't destroy them. Like how there are no Dragonballs in F!Trunks's timeline, but there stilla re in the main timeline.GodVegetto91 wrote: That doesn't work like i already stated. Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
From Herms' summary right here on Kanzenshuu:
So who is right? Herms or Batman? In Trunks’ alternate future, Black and Zamasu are hanging out together. Black boasts that next time he’ll finish Goku off for sure, but Zamasu says doing so would leave Black without any more “prey” to grow stronger. Anyway, they’ve proven Goku is no longer a match for them. Zamasu is pleased with his immortality, and says perhaps Black should likewise use the Super Dragon Balls to become immortal. However, Black is only interested in growing stronger: they need his “infinitely” rising power to fulfill their plans. Zamasu finds it ironic that the “0 Mortals Plan” relies on a mortal’s power.
Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
I don't know what Batman claimed, but the summary is valid. All Goku Black and Future Zamasu have to do is use the Time Ring. They can travel parallel to an era with Super Dragon Balls. There's no conflict in the phrasing and we know it's within their capabilities. Let's not forget Goku Black traveled parallel to Future Zamasu's era using the same method.
Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
that is true but it was never mentioned in any of the subs i watched that zamasu suggested black to wish for immortality.Nejishiki wrote:I don't know what Batman claimed, but the summary is valid. but like you said he can still do that since there are still super dragon balls in other timelines
Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
Again, I can't vouch for fan subtitles unless they're from Dragon Team. I do know the conversation, from my understanding, and Herms' account of the dialogue is correct.
Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
Traveling to other timelines could hold some extensional benefits for the duo. We can assume Black destroyed his universe's Super Dragon Balls as a deterrence, but we're aware of two timelines besides the main one with potentially active sets -- the point in existence where the Cell whom we know of originated from and the unseen fourth timeline. Alongside the wish for immortality granted to Black, they could indoctrinate the Zamasus from these respective universes and supplement their ranks with more chrono-counterparts of themselves. Not only is their individual strengths on-par with the Saiyans as a minimum, they would also hold a numerical edge coupled with whatever permutations granted by Super Shenron since it can be safely assumed the other Zamasus would request wishes of their own.

Re: something i noticed doesn't add up.
I watched the scene again, since I couldn't remember off the top of my head, and the statement was in the past tense (超ドラゴンボールで不死身の体にしてもらえばよかったのではないか). The underlined portion here is indicating it's something he's suggesting Black should have done, but didn't. So though we as fans can speculate that they might go to other timelines if they need more wishes, Black/Zamasu don't seem to be considering that option.GodVegetto91 wrote: So who is right?
