So we know the Saiyans have some form of a caste system, given how Vegeta looks down on people like Goku and Raditz on their status as low-class Saiyans warriors. Judging from what we've seen, including from official Toei storylines such as the first Broli film, part of the caste seems to do with how much strength you are born with. This makes me wonder how the near-death power-up works with this social contrast. On Namek, Goku and Vegeta's strength increases seem to be random, instead of being fixated on a certain multiplier.
So hypothetically, if a low-class Saiyan got a Zenkai on a solo mission and became stronger than the Vegeta family, how does this effect his status? Do the Saiyans of Planet Vegeta view him on a higher pedestal, or still look down on him because of his birth status?

They will look down on him try to kill him or Freeza will kill him since he is a little to strong for his own good.
Re: Zenakis and the Saiyan Social Construction
According to Toriyama in the "Episode of Bardock" Akira Toriyama Super Q&A quote below they would be promoted to Elite.
To be honest, I haven’t thought it through that far, but Bardock is a low-class warrior. Although even saying that, almost all [Saiyans] were low-class warriors, and there were only about 10 mid-class warriors. And when you get to the elite warriors, there’s only King Vegeta and Prince Vegeta. Bardock is in the upper ranks as far as low-class warriors go, but he isn’t able to become a mid-class warrior.
This rank is determined by an innate latent battle power, but naturally, if their battle power rises greatly afterward, they can be promoted.

Well that solves it. Thanks!

Re: Zenakis and the Saiyan Social Construction
Apparently the entirety of these Saiyans' tenure as officiated butchers under Freeza wasn't enough environmental stimuli to propel themselves up from the meagre single digit thousand power levels most of them were confined to. Vegeta ascends to over 2,000,000 when his starting point was 24,000 in 6 days time on Namek. How many years have the Saiyans lived under the thumb of Freeza's oppression? I can understand the tyrant wishing to relegate their potential growth, but surely they must have conceived of the idea to train amongst each other in extreme conditions for the benefit of strengthening their power levels. Even the humans proved to be highly efficient beneficiaries of the opportunities given to them when they trained with King Kai. In fact, most of them were arguably on-par with the low ranking Saiyans after utilising local means on their backwater planet. Odd, yes?
