Would the Heart Virus still affect Goku Black?

Post by Angelus » Sat Nov 12, 2016 1:34 am

What Future Trunks brought to the past wasn't a vaccine right? Meaning you could still get it again?

Couldn't Future Bulma find a way to weaponize the heart virus? The vial that Future Trunks brought with him to the past came from the future right? Which means that amidst the Android chaos in the future, someone found a way to make a cure to the heart virus. For that to be possible, someone had to have had a sample of the actual virus. Given that, it can be weaponized.

It probably should, the body is Goku's after all. I was wondering if that angle would come up.
"Don't take pleasure in destruction!" / "I will not let you destroy my world!"
A true hero goes beyond not the limits of power, but the limits that divide countries and people.

Protagonists (and by extension, Goku Black) can't get sick unless it's convenient for the plot. It's a scientific fact.

Just imagine Goku Black dying from the flu, maybe he gets shot while in a sneezing fit.

It has never been stated, but I find it probable that Bulma herself (or some medical personnel paid by her) found the cure to the virus. Just she did not find it in time to save Goku.

About using the virus as a weapon (if she still had the sample after almost 20 years)... Goku's body may still be immunized against it (still having specific antibodies).

What was the official translation for the vial that Future Trunks brought though? Vaccine? Antidote? Cure? Medicine?

Future Trunks, Kuririn, Gohan, and Yamcha referred to it as medicine.

If you're talking about the version that merged with Zamasu, he's immortal, so no.
