Would have had the removal of the Time Ring killed Zamasu/Black?
I mean either one, I forgot which one had the ring on but it was the only thing that kept him alive from another timeline right? Because otherwise he would have been erased completely because Beerus killed him and Beerus did say that when a god kills another god, it erases that said god from all timelines or something to that gist

Yes it would have, he flat out says "This Ring protects me from anything you do in the past!".
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

to be honest... I still do not get it with Black = Zamasu who was killed by Beerus.
But maybe

I mean the end could have been different: Future Trunks could have just cut off the Time Ring itself or the actual finger that has the Time Ring on it. Does Merged Zamasu have 2 Time Rings now? He had one each for Zamasu and Black right?
Re: Would have had the removal of the Time Ring killed Zamasu/Black?
Goku Black is the one with the Time Ring and Merged Zamasu uses the same item. As it currently stands, only one Time Ring has been used between them.

It's possible, but we don't know enough about the Time Rings to declare that removing it would have killed him. It's not clear whether simply wearing it at the moment of his past self's death was enough, and he'd thus be protected thereafter even while not wearing the ring, or if he has to keep it on forever to keep the "ripples of past events" or whatever from catching up to him. And this point it'll likely never be explained in the series (maybe in an eventual guidebook?)

As I have shown you with an easier drawn timeline based off the Toei chart and the official statements in the show: No, it would not have needed to killed him. Nothing Black said was unequivocal to actually mean the protection was meant to be this way. It always gave the option to make this protection manifest in another way. The show already gave the option and the chart ultimately confirmed that this protection happened by taking the moment when Beerus killed Zamasu and created a "Safety Timeline", so as the chart states, when Beerus destroyed Zamasu, time split in two pieces, so Black could exist in the first place. Nothing ever implied in the show what the protection was about in one absolute way. Beerus had no idea he was always involved and always needed. He never had a chance to actually stop Black.Angelus wrote:I mean either one, I forgot which one had the ring on but it was the only thing that kept him alive from another timeline right? Not saying they could have written something weird as "cut off the finger and the safety timeline becomes one with the other timeline" but it is not like it was necessary.

Didn't zamasu turn to dust right now?
Air can't wear a ring, he is still alive though..
So I would go with no.. removing ring dosent kill him

Re: Would the removal of the Time Ring have killed Zamasu/Black?
Black would have died, yes. It's the sole reason why he still existed after Beerus destroyed Present Zamasu. After fusion, we don't know. I think that if Merged Zamasu lost the Time Ring he'd turn into the Bio-Zamasu form we saw him turn into after taking damage in Episode 66. As in, Black "dies", but Future Zamasu's immortality prevents death, so you get the imbalance that's shown through half of the body being purple and goopy and the immortality not functioning correctly. But that's all speculation.
