A slight inconsistency in Zamasu's fusion.

Really apologise if this has been covered up, i tried a few search and didn't find anything concrete.

I would like to point out two fundamental facts.

1. Both Black, and Zamasu, had Time Rings.
2. Fusion, for Gods, is permanent.

How can we explain the fusion of the time rings in this case? Do both time frames merge?

I've been scratching my head about this, not that i can imagine any outcome, but it just contradicts a few things that have been said. Possibly, hopefully, this will piss Zeno off, giving us at least hope for another 66 episodes

Zamasu was never shown to have a time ring, only Black had one.

you are right

although Whis clearly says there must be another person on the other side helping Black out on their first encounter. not to forget that Zamasu makes quite an appearance on Trunks timeline, time ringish appearance :P.
