Potara retcon making way for a new possible fusion technique

Basically as the title says, the best thing to take away from the "forever-1 hour time limit" retcon is that now we can have a new method of fusion that IS in fact permanent and possibly even stronger. This time it could be one that couldn't be undone by the Super Dragon Balls, making it really a sticky mess. What concept would you guys use for the fusion? I'm looking for the God's of Destruction or Angels to have some type of object just like the Kaioshins and the ear rings. I'd like something called the Zotara rings that you wear on your fingers that require a bro-fist to activate fusion.
