How much of a hax did DBS Future Trunks just receive?

Does this even mean that he's more powerful than SSJB Vegito or Merged Zamasu now? Or was it only at that instance where he had that sword and Spirit Bomb absorption thing? Is he the single most powerful character in existence in DBS as of episode 67?

Trunka could only defeat zamasu because of all the energy he received form goku vegeta and earth.
He still can't dream of fighting zamasu head on, whereas vegetto was dominating zamasu.

The point is stated by trunks when he sees vegetto blue and says what overwhelming power.. if he had same level he wouldn't have said that..
He didn't receive any transformation after that either, only energy..

So no, single most powerful character in existence as of episode 67-infinity ( probably ) is Zeno..
If taking about the main cast.. vegetto blue dominates everyone

I think it was a one off yeah. He had no spirit aura when he attacked cloud Zamasu along with Goku and Vegeta.

It's immeasurable the amount of power wanking Future Trunks got from the writers and/or Toriyama. But ironically, it didn't matter in the end.

Merged Zamasu probably got worned down fighting Vegito, and that's why Trunks was able to take him on.

At least that's how I justify it. I doubt the writers cared enough about power consistently to think it through.
