How are Goku and Vegeta able to grow beards in Super?

I thought in the Cell Saga Vegeta said that pure blooded saiyan's hair cannot change from the time they were born to the time they die. So... how did they grow beards in Super? (this also makes me wonder how Nappa ever became bald... )

That only counts for head hair, they are born with their signature hairstyle and grow into it.
It never changes in length or style during their lives.
They can get bald at a certain age though.

Doyou really think Nappa and King Vegeta were born with a moustache, respectively goatee?
What Vegeta means is that they are born with their usual hair style and that doesn't ever grow. They can still go bald or cut it.
