Imagine if he was animated as Guru instead. With a backstory that the Namekians never had a "dragon-class" or "warrior-class" in U6, as all Namekians are born as one class. Guru would be the last Namekian alive and wanted to win the tournament so he could bring back all his the dead Namekians. He won't be spitting out eggs in this Universe.

Same powers though, being able to deflect all damage towards a different dimension. Namekians can do magical stuff afterall. It would just be a change of backstory and animation, and the voice of course. Same results, ring-out victory for Goku. Except, we won't have to watch Winnie the Pooh on steroids fight
