I heard this rumor that toriyama doesn't want to dragon Ball anymore

The rumor is from a trusted source and it's because of how Toei have been handeling Super but he might've changed his mind thanks to the Zamasu arc.

If the next arc is announced as his last then it'll likely mean that he doesn't like Toei's direction with it but hopefully that won't happen.

If that happens I wonder if he'll continue with the manga? Would be interesting to see them branch off

Until we hear from Toriyama himself, it's all speculation. Although he rarely gives out interviews so that's unlikely.

Toriyama has about 4-5 months to write an arc and draw new chatacters, so that aspect is not the problem. We can see that Toei are getting better with art and animation so I doubt he will not be moaning about that anymore. So I say he will be doing Dragonball for a long time now.

Yeah not sure why people believe things he says. He seems to have a bit of a dodgy reputation on the site so I don't really trust this person at all.

Also this was said Pre-Black arc and he wrote the Black arc and now the next arc if he wanted out then he would have been out by now.

The quote from Toriyama about not wanting to draw Dragon Ball anymore comes from a 2003 interview with Viz's Shonen Jump magazine, in response to a question about drawing the (then new) kanzenban cover illustrations:

To draw it again for the first time in so long produced a very complicated mix of emotions, combining nostalgia with the feeling that I don't want to draw Dragon Ball any more.

Obviously, Toriyama has returned to the franchise quite a few times since then, and has given very excited and involved answers regarding all sorts of aspects. His presumed dissatisfaction with aspects of Dragon Ball Super come from his introduction to this year's 30th anniversary "Super History Book":

I had put Dragon Ball behind me, but seeing how much that live-action film ticked me off, and how I revised that script for the anime movie and complained about the quality of the TV anime, I suppose somewhere along the line it's become a series I like too much to ever leave alone.

As you can see, even there it's wrapped up with a feeling of pride and continued involvement.

The only other thing I'd add is that you may be misconstruing Toriyama's self-deprecating style and quasi-(earned!)-laziness when he says things like he's happy to toss out outlines and sketches and not have to do all the heavy-lifting, so to speak. He paid his dues on a weekly series in the 80s and 90s with two blockbuster hits; he's never had a desire to go back to that insane schedule.

Saying that Toriyama is lazy is really disconsiderate and down right disrespectful. Few people could withstand the pressure he went through for years when the original dragon ball and DBZ was airing in the late 80's and early 90's.

People don't understand that Toriyama is old and tired, he's not young like he was when he was writing the Piccolo Daimao or the Freeza Arc of the original manga. And things got worse for him during the cell arc.

I guess him complaining about the "quality of the TV anime" could be interpreted multiple ways, either the bad animation in early BoG saga or the actual writing itself which i dont think was the case, since it does have a toriyama feel to it. While the reason why the DBZ was much better is cause Toriyama writing was constantly being influenced by Jump editors and he took it more seriously.
