Why does Beerus always underestimate and ignore Vegeta ?
Why does Beerus always underestimate and ignore Vegeta ?
Vegeta got God ki on his own , and is probably stronger than Goku as an SSB [Excluding the Kaioken] . Yet its always Goku that Beerus thinks about and wants to be the next God of Destruction . And Beerus also bullies Vegeta a lot [at least till the end of Universe 6 saga].
Why is that ?
Why is that ?

Because Goku is an alpha and Vegeta is a beta.

Re: Why does Beerus always underestimate and ignore Vegeta ?
Vegeta is a warrior, goku is a martial artist.. when both have same strength, martial artist has a greater Chance of winning the battle due to various reasons.. hence berrus respects goku more.. also because goku is pretty much his friend in a sense, vegeta isn't..
Vegeta however has faaaar more durability than Goku, it takes all a person has to make him stay down, and he will still get up..
That's a warrior for you..
Vegeta is made for war, Goku for battle..
Berrus will also respect vegeta if he was a little bit honestly nice to him too, Vegeta is too uptight..
And let's be honest, Vegeta has always failed where it counts the most in super at least..

He humiliated Goku Black all by himself ... Where did he fail again ???Ki Breaker wrote:Vegeta is a warrior, goku is a martial artist.. when both have same strength, martial artist has a greater Chance of winning the battle due to various reasons.. hence berrus respects goku more.. also because goku is pretty much his friend in a sense, vegeta isn't..

Could he kill him? He only made black stronger.. he failed like he always does..DSB wrote: He humiliated Goku Black all by himself ... Where did he fail again ???
It's clear Vegeta is your favorite character and you see him punching black as the ultimate humiliation to black.. but does it count in the outcome? No, it doesn't..
As that isn't what the topic was, I won't continue this any more..

Re: Why does Beerus always underestimate and ignore Vegeta ?
Either because Goku is the one who beat Frieza and Buu, because Beerus holds a grudge against King Vegeta, because he remembers Vegeta showing him disrespect as a child or because without Goku, Vegeta wouldn't have such a drive to get more powerful to begin with.

Re: Why does Beerus always underestimate and ignore Vegeta ?
Goku was the one to personally fight Beerus as a ssg. It was during that fight where Beerus began to respect him.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Beta? Not even, he's second only to Yamcha. Look at his wife, the overly-promiscuous girl who inevitably had daddy issues. Vegeta's an omega.dragon boss z wrote:Because Goku is an alpha and Vegeta is a beta.

Re: Why does Beerus always underestimate and ignore Vegeta ?
Because "without Kaio-Ken" is only a thing in the minds of Vegeta fans, and what Beerus actually sees is the next potential God of Destruction and his sparring partner who is ten times weaker than the potential God of Destruction. Pretty simple.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Because Beerus fought Goku and respects him for giving him a good battle and willingly giving up. Whereas, at least to Beerus, Vegeta has always been his bitch on speed-dial.

Re: Why does Beerus always underestimate and ignore Vegeta ?
He doesn't underestimate him, he just bullies him in the first arcs because he knows Vegeta is afraid of him. (thankfully thats over now
hopefully
)
I also haven't seen Beerus ignoring Vegeta, he was the one telling Beerus about Black being alive and he did listen to him, he was upset Black wasn't destroyed after hearing that.

I havent seen this. Its just him having more interaction with Goku as he is the friendliest of the two.DSB wrote: Yet its always Goku that Beerus thinks about and wants to be the next God of Destruction .

Because Vegeta is a beta male who could never compare to Goku, Beerus being a wise God knows this.
After the baseball episode, he doesn't even have that anymore. He's even been cucked by Yamcha of all people.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:Beta? Not even, he's second only to Yamcha. I love how Vegeta fans always bring up "Without Kaioken", totally ignoring the fact that Goku is way stronger regardless.RandomGuy96 wrote:Because "without Kaio-Ken" is only a thing in the minds of Vegeta fans, and what Beerus actually sees is the next potential God of Destruction and his sparring partner who is ten times weaker than the potential God of Destruction. This pretty much sums it up. Despite Vegeta's rage boost when beerus bitch slapped his wife in front of him, he still got rekt.Lord Beerus wrote:Because Beerus fought Goku and respects him for giving him a good battle and willingly giving up. Because Goku is the main character. Plus Goku is likable. Vegeta is always grumpy.
