I think "Ultimate" is being treated as a separate form, we know he can go SS while still having the "Ultimate" so him getting back doesn't mean he can't go SS again, like how Goku and Vegeta can cycle through their old SS forms.

SSGSS is pretty obvious to push merchandise sales, though he could pull a Trunks and get a form in between that or he might just rock out with "Ultimate". Not a huge fan of that so I'd prefer he use SS since Vegeta and Goku will use SSGSS it'd be nice to see Gohan use colour too in Gold instead of boring black.

In terms of what he'll do, if I were to group the U7 team in tiers I reckon he'll be in the middle tier with Buu and the Androids maybe Piccolo Goku and Vegeta obviously top and others bottom, so I reckon he'll get a fair few wins/moments to shine. As namekiansaiyan says everyone will get a moment to shine but some will more than others I reckon Gohan will be in the middle.

I would much rather have him get stronger at least fat buu tier and win against an opponent stronger than him who beat buu..
Then lose because of an overwhelming strong opponent

Gohan can have any number if wins dosen't matter, the fact that he is back rocking his gi is enough to make me go hyped..
As long as they don't have him job outright by an opponent who he could have beaten I am fine..

Say, namekians could have gone a different evolution in uni 6 too, maybe they have a transformation type which they use and piccolo copies it mid fight..
Would be cool to see someone other than a Saiyan transforming in battle

I want a universe 6 namekian to transform but be completely different to a transform Piccolo gets .

So I want 2 different versions basically. One for universe 6 and one for universe 7.

No one will do bad I think as like I said I before, I expect everyone to lose and win during Universe 7's progress through the tournament.

'Mystic' is not a form. It's just Gohan using his full power, so they wouldn't be anything special about Gohan mixing his normal ki with god ki. He would just get Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.

All Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is just normal ki mixed with god ki, which is my point. Gohan wouldn't be special mixing his Ultimate form or whatever with it. In fact, he would be inferior since Goku and Vegeta's normal Super Saiyan forms are vastly superior to Gohan's Ultimate form at the moment.

Goku and Vegeta don't need the ritual since their base are stronger than Gohan has even been and it's only a guess if Goten and Trunks would nearly be as strong. Even then, them not using Super Saiyan would just make them more energy efficient.
