The Android names Lapis and Lazuli
Those sound sound a little awkward to me, like names Naoko Takeuchi would use for her Sailor Moon antagonists (Kunzite, Malachite, etc). I would have probably picked different names for the Androids, but I refer to them by their numbers.

You watch Dragonball and feel awkward about names?

Nah, I watch RWBY. Names like Lapis and Lazuli are common on that show.

Re: The Android names Lapis and Lazuli
Isn't Satan's name a generic name like Mark or something? Now that's weird for Dragon Ball!
Re: The Android names Lapis and Lazuli
That comes from "Maaku" which is an anagramm of "Akuma" which once more is because of "Mr. Satan".Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Isn't Satan's name a generic name like Mark or something? Now that's weird for Dragon Ball!

I'm glad that if he had to pick rock names, he picked names that weren't used in Sailor Moon already.
On hiatus.

I think he picked them because they were criminals. You know, thieves steal jewels and all.

I have to admit that does sound like the best reason for their names. Their eyes did look very inhuman and distinct, although it was likely a cyborg enhancement.
