Would Syn Shenron be a challenge to Vegito?
The One-Star Dragon from Dragon Ball GT vs. The Potara Warrior from Dragon Ball Z.
Re: Would Syn Shenron be a challenge to Vegito?
The answer that 90% of people will give you goes along the lines of "Everything in GT obliterates everything in Z". So yeah, according to the the stupidity of power scaling that's 'claimed' in Dragonball GT... Even if Vegito went SS3 with his then-permanent Potara Fusion, Omega would curbstomp his ass.
(the following is personal opinion that disregards 'facts' and statements in the Dragonball GT series. I don't expect anybody to agree with it, it's just my own attempt to rationalize the series full of inconsistencies and nonsense into something more believable)
The problem is... GT's stupid increase in power levels makes no sense even in the context of it's own setting. There's no way Goku is suddenly a hundred times more powerful than he was ten years prior. Until Baby shows up I don't think any of those villains are even close to Majin Buu either. Honestly I look at most of it as just flat out terrible writing with little to no forethought put into it.
Backing up to the very begining of GT here... If you accept the idea that Goku isn't significantly more powerful after the ten year time skip, the idea of Vegetto being able to beat Baby solo is pretty easy to accept. He put in less effort in his curbstomp with Buuhan than 50% Freeza did against pre-SSJ Goku after all, so he has plenty of power to spare before being forced to transform further. Anyways Vegetto going all-out at Super Saiyan 2 being pushed to fight at SS3 against Syn Shenron seems doable to me. But I do not think that he has what it takes to win against Omega. Assuming he was healed by Dende or something back to 100% & ate a couple of Senzu, he'd have to form a really huge Spirit Bomb, absorb it Android 13 style, and then pout 99.9% of the energy he has himself into the biggest Final Kamehameha the universe would ever see... Basically think the original Final Flash sequence, only it's SS3 Vegetto amped up by a fuckhueg Spirit Bomb. Even then it's pretty doubtful he'd be able to actually kill Omega.
That's my .02c anyways. Not many will agree with it, but it's something other than "GT stomps Z".

According to the GT anime comics a SSJ4 is as strong as Super Vegetto, so even SSJ2 Vegetto would easily wreck Syn Shenron, let alone SSJ3.RedShift wrote:The answer that 90% of people will give you goes along the lines of "Everything in GT obliterates everything in Z".
