Could Tien's Tribeam push #19 if it's palms are opened, facing Tien's direction?
Imagine Tien shooting Tribeams at #19. #19 is on the ground while Tien is floating above. #19 has his palms open at Tien's direction. Would it push #19 down into a square crater?

No. #19 will absorb that attack as energy and therefore there won't be a crater.

Would #19 get pushed down though?

Unless sticking out its palm just creates a giant absorb-all-energy field around the machine, the blast is still going to hit every part on the machine in addition to its palm. So yes.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Android gets destroyed, palms cannot protect all of body and tri beam attacks on a whole area

Whatever the plot calls for

According to the visuals for both 19 absorbing Goku's Kamehameha and 20 absorbing Vegeta's blast, all the energy seemed to be drawn into the palm absorby things, even though the blasts were way wider than the palm absorby things. So I imagine they'd do the same thing to the Tri-Beam.

Well first of all, Kikoho doesn't just "push." I don't think #19 is so far beyond Tenshinhan that he wouldn't get wrecked if he took a Shin Kikoho head-on without absorbing it -- he's waaaaay weaker than #17, #18, or Imperfect Cell, let alone the much, much stronger "Semi-Perfect" Cell that only got forcefully shoved backward by Shin Kikoho hits (but, more importantly, couldn't just power through them -- Shin Kikoho was hitting harder than #16's punch at least, even if it wasn't enough to harm Cell) rather than taking any serious damage.
But yeah, if #19 saw Tenshinhan preparing a Kikoho and put the absorption circles on his palms outward before it was unleashed, I figure he would be able to absorb the energy of the attack and avoid taking any damage (including being knocked back.) Any energy around the far edges of the attack's range that somehow didn't get absorbed would still blast a hole into the ground behind the Android, but it wouldn't be the Kikoho's usual perfect square crater due to a big chunk of the energy in the middle being removed before impact.
