Seeing as how there can be only one victor. I'm guessing 11 universes will be destroyed, right?

So you're telling me Roshi, Tien, and Krillin are stronger than Goten and Trunks?

Thoughts?

Goten and Trunks were neglected in the previous tournament too... Maybe Chi Chi and Bulma won't allow it

Probably this is the case, they didn't know what the stakes were and have very less battle experience which would hinder a team game

Oh, I thought you were being sarcastic to OP.. It wasn't the case I see..

When there weren't two Zeno's we had an revelation of grand priest being one of the top 5 fighters in multiverse, obviously zeno is one of them and as Zeno's guards protect him they take two spots.

The total comes out to be 4 and fifth fighter remains a mystery, the OP has an old signature which refers to this fifth character as the "unseen character"..
Nobody knows who he is..

Now that another zeno has come, he took a spot in in top 5, if you want to count the mystery character, we have top 6..

It is not just about power. They are only stronger than 3 of the team however those 3 are much better fighters who Beerus can rely on to get a win.

Whis said his father has the fifth highest battle power, which puts him at 5th place. This was before we had another Zeno.

Obviously this unseen character is someone we haven't seen yet.

How the team was constructed is yet to be seen. The arc hasn't properly started either while on that matter. I don't think the "you" you're referring to ever told you that those characters were stronger than Goten and Trunks. The selection process might relate to some other factor. Let's not forget that Gohan would have participated in Champa's tournament had he been free of his established responsibilities. Something like that could happen again. We'll have to discover the context together when we get there in February.

In the Anime Gohan was willing to participate but didn't because he said he'll have a conference on that day

For all we know maybe there is a limit on each race. We literally know nothing aside from these ten are fighting.

Also we dont even know if they are told the stakes before they get there. For all we know those guys came for fun but Zeno blows up a universe and they are like...fuuuudge.

The conference is referenced in the manga continuity, as well. However, it looks like the order of events is different. He never got the chance to be formally invited.

What if it's like the hunter exam in Hunter X Hunter? In that there was only one loser and that'd be the person who lost every match. In this case maybe Universe 7 would actually be losing and their main goal would be to keep from being in last place.

This is good. I like this theory. This would also make the tournament/arc hopefully a lot longer than most with a lot of fights included.
