We see that Goku's attacks go through Hit's body.
At the same time we see that this move allows Hit to be undetected and basically vanish his ki.
Yes Goku did sense him coming to earth but once he arrived at the battle location, Hit was capable of concealing his existence.
My initial idea was that he is using tokitobashi numerous times at once so he can appear not moving while not allowing Goku to predict his movement. Instead of one - 3 second tokitobashi, six or more - 0.5 seconds tokitobashi's.
My second idea was that this hit is nothing more than a projection and the real one is actually hiding. The attack that damaged Goku wasn't from close distance but instead from a long range (like a sniper attack). Tokitobashi allows hit to move fast and chose a strategic position to attack and identify the opponent's weak spots.
Goku's way of defending against this move would be to close his eyes at first, ignore his ki sense and focus on his other senses in order to predict/feel the sniper shot approaching and instinctively dodging it (moving without thinking and with pure instict).

Well, what I understood after listening to what Vados said, countless of times is... Hit creates another dimension where he can move freely and is able to see and hear things of the original dimension. Goku was able to break into that dimension using a huge Ki blast. This kinda united both dimensions. Hit is still able t create more dimensionsMazingerdestro wrote:We see that Goku's attacks go through Hit's body.

Punch Botamo and hope the dimension Hit is in is the one Botamo redirects damage to.

Re: Hit's ability and how to counter it
After watching the episode (mind this comment was a prediction and not an explanation since I posted it after episode 71) is that Hit is using something like Tobi's/Obito's technique with some differences. Obito can move his body to another dimension and at the same time have a projection of himself in our dimension. Also the only way to have a shot against Hit is to wait for him to attack and hope for a counter attack. The main difference is that with the first's DNA, Obito was able to spam it (at least till his eyes start bleeding) something that Hit can't do. Hit can create that dimension by storing time, which implies that at some point that time will end (also we have no clue whether or not this time can be stored forever or at some point he has to use it or lose it). So Hit's "best" is to start storing time before a battle starts so he can be able to use it as much as possible. Not a useful technique in a tournament that lacks places that you can hide. The new technique is excellent for killing without witnesses but not useful for a fight.SuperKirillin wrote:Well, what I understood after listening to what Vados said, countless of times is... The only combo I could come up is Hit punching at the other dimension and at the same time attacking. Nothing crazy and I hope that when Goku said "Hit is stronger than when we fought in the tournament" he meant physically. Because in general in both the anime and the manga, Goku had the upper hand in close combat.

AND, he can store the Time it skips. Splendid idea, time is incomprehensible and they are making very good use of itSuperKirillin wrote:Hit creates another dimension where he can move freely and is able to see and hear things of the original dimension.
