Chichi part god?
Okay, i remember reading in Beckett's DBZ magazine that Gohan got his hidden powers from Chichi's side of the family, because she's part goddess. And she's part goddess because Gyuumao, or Ox King, is actually a god.
Is this true at all in the Dragon Ball universe, or is this assumption only on the origins of the character Gyuumao in "Journey to the West?"

What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

LOL, I don't think that Gyuumao is a god. Just a really strong human.
And besides, Gohan is so strong because he has Human blood and Saiyan blood. It's like how Vegeta explains it in episode 5:
Vegeta: "Everything else aside, Kakarotto's son's battle power... was unusually high, compared to Saiyan children."
Nappa: "It could have been some kind of mistake, couldn't it?"
Vegeta "No, there's no mistake. Raditz did actually take a great deal of damage from that kid's strike. Apparently, when our blood is mixed with an Earthling's, it results in a hybrid with mighty power."
I hope that explains it.

I feel better now.
If Chichi or Ox were part of some type of God or something, the only possible connection I could make would be Ox and Enma's horn hats. But that type of connection is kinda an odd one. For one thing, Ox is not quite as strong as Roshi or Grandpa Gohan. By the time of the Baba arc, Goku's already past Roshi, and apparently on par with Grandpa Gohan. If Ox were a deity of some type, don't you think he'd be a bit stronger? Judging from the fact Kami-sama could knock Goku back with a simple finger after Goku defeated Piccolo Daimao, one must assume that a deity would be much stronger.
Meh, I'm done talking about this...
