Avatar problem

Although my avatar is under 8 kb and is 80x80, every now and then it F's up and says it's 23x30. I don't think it's a linking to geocities problem because it does work intermitently. Any suggestions (other than uploadit.com. I'm too cheap. :D )?

Actually Dayspring, if your avatar isn't too big, you just have to use the uploadit free section, it's like a free sample to try them out. That's what I did. You only pay if you want the uploadit premium one.
