At the beginning when i heard about it i thought someone would make Goku evil just like Vegeta but i'm happy that's what not the case....
What do you think about that??? i mean it would be the same concept but i know some people would like it to see the same shit again just to have a nostalgia
of Majin Vegeta xD ...I'm happy they have done it in a different way

I think Black was a bad idea but wonderfully executed.

That whole Copy-Vegeta thing was a pretty big copy of Majin Vegeta as it was. But Goku Black was honestly such a refreshing spin on the concept. It wasn't a shadowy reflection of what Goku could have been. It was a villain becoming enamoured with Goku and stealing his strength for himself. Really, the fact that he's Goku was more of a justification as to how Zamasu could get strong enough to threaten them than some kind of big theme about Goku's sense of morality. And I appreciate that.

I too am content with the fact that Goku Black isn't some sort of representation of what an evil version of Goku could've been as I feel like that's already been done with characters like Tullece. Though I know that I maybe be deemed a hypocrite by some people because swapping bodies with main character has also been something that's done, but in a sense, I do like the irony behind it. I like how Goku, someone who is known to bring out the best in people, actually further strengthened Zamasu's anger towards mortals and brought out the absolute worst in him as Zamasu then proceeds to steal Goku's body and kill his family. Which Zamasu starts to become no different than the mortals he so detested as he's became noticeably more Saiyan like as the only thing Black cares mostly about is further improving his fighting skills and reaching new heights in power himself through fighting just like mortals like Goku and Vegeta.

I hope we will see Zamasu again in the future. Such a waste of a villain. Not even a year has passed since his first appearance and Black has already become one of the most popular and iconic characters in the entire franchise. It truly shows what a great villain he is.
