I have considered the possibility that Brolyne is neither from Universe 6 nor a saiyan. I'm not expecting it to be the case, but it'd honestly be nice. It's an excuse that can be reused easily, for example to have a Super Saiyan 4 character appear, so it's excellent for fanservice.

But I would actually prefer if they made Broly canon, he's so popular and he is in every videogame since Budokai 3 if I remember correctly (hell even Burst Limit had him) even if I'm not really a huge fan of his, but he's still part of my childhood and I will never forget the Linkin Park Broly AMV. I also would like to invite everyone hating on it to actually wait and see what this will actually be. I too was afraid Black Goku would turn out into some fan-fiction crap (Toriyama even said it wasn't his idea to have him) but we all saw how good he turned out to be.

Furthermore, Cabba didn't know what a Super Saiyan was, and he lives on a planet full of Saiyans. I think she's from another universe, where Saiyans evolved differently still. I would definitely prefer an evolutionary explanation to the appearance of Trolly's SSj form.

First of all. I don't really want Movie 8-10-11 Brolly to become canon, but I wouldn't really mind either...
This why...

1. It generates tension, like if a saiyan can generate unlimited power without any drawback and in short amount of time would give Goku and Vegeta a rather strong motivation, again.
2. Broly didn't really manage to be a decent character so this female version can work.
3. LSSJ Brolly was designed by Toriyama.
4. A female saiyan... that's it...
5. This girl could have transformed into LSSJ when Cabba came back home after the tournament.
6. Goku and Vegeta can really prove to overcome any limit.
