It took Fortuneteller Baba 75 episodes to finally appear in Super

Post by precita » Sun Jan 22, 2017 5:42 pm

I only have to ask...what on earth took so long? She was really the only other older major character that has been around since practically the beginning that took 2 years and 75 episodes just to get a episode in Super. I remember wondering why we hadn't seen her in so long in any of the episodes, was it a VA issue?

I'm glad she finally appeared.

Baba serves no purpose except to bring dead people back from the other world for a day and show battles on her crystal ball. I assume that's why she's not there.

And it took seventy five episodes for Marron to speak.

Give another 75 and Lunch might make a cameo.

Please correct me, if I'm mistaken, but didn't they visit Baba when they were looking to learn more about the Super Dragon Balls and she couldn't help? Or is that just a false memory that I've made up and mistake for reality now?

The fact we've seen Baba before Lunch is a fucking travesty.

Baba is more important than Launch ever was.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I wondered why Baba hasn't been chilling with her brother Roshi. That's some history there that could be explored.

I wish dudes. :(

Then again, she is a bandit who did her own thing. But I would welcome a brief appearance.

I'd also like to mention that Baba was only important for one moment in the story and that was bringing Goku back to life for one day... and that action lead to the Majin Boo arc happening.

So fuck that old witch. :P

She helped Goku find the last Dragon Ball and his Power Pole. She also told everyone to wait a year before reviving Goku in the Saiyan Saga.

Launch was Roshi's eye candy.

Lunch also arrived in the nick of time to cut Goku free from the ropes bound by him by General Blue so that he could throw the bomb that General Blue had left behind to kill Goku, Roshi, Bulma and Krillin. That's right, without Lunch, the main cast would have died right there and then and the Red Ribbon Army would have won. The plot would have basically ended without her.
