Super Saiyan Rose color scheme parallel?

Post by Freeza9000 » Mon Jan 23, 2017 2:33 am

This newly revealed U10 Hakaishin (which TBH should've been introduced in the Zamasu arc) is basically a pink humanoid elephant. So I guess the SSJR color scheme is a parallel to the color design of the God of Destruction of U10? Maybe or coincidence? Or it's just me overthinking things.

Pink is often associated with beauty, power and nobility. The Rose is also a flower which, behind that beauty, hides something dangerous: thorns. The rose, both the color and the flower, is very similiar to Black Goku, who is a beautiful, powerful and most noble God but that, despite his appearance as Goku, also hides a far more sinister nature than one would expect.

In short, Super Sayan Rose has nothing in common with U10's God of Destruction. The reason Black's unique Super Sayan God transformation bears the color pink is to represent Black's own ideals and personality, not because the God of Destruction of Zamasu's Universe is also pink.

Since when do the saiyans get to choose which color their super saiyan auras look like? Did Vegeta and Goku say "hey, lets go Blue!"? I think you're overthinking this whole thing TBH.

I think it's just coincidence. Most elephants are coloured either grey or pink anyways.
Cutesy-type elephants are always coloured pink.

And from what little knowledge I have of my own goddamn culture, Ganesha is a Hindu God and is mostly depicted as being red in colour.
Perhaps that could be some inspiration?

Pink elephant. Another name for alcoholic allucination.
The same drink pun.
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

To that point, they never bothered explaining why Black's SSJ hair was pink. It was Son's body, so it should have been either gold (ki) or blue (god ki). I guess it's loosely implied that Zamasu could manipulate the color, but it's never expressly stated or explained (like everything else in Super...)

The manga makes it a point to say that a god in a saiyan body will attain pink hair when he passes the stage of super saiyan god.

Take that as you will it doesn't really offer much explanaton in my eyes as when would a god ever be n a saiyans body previous to this situation.

I just assumed black could manipulate the colour being a god and all and wanted to differentiate himself from ssb and represent beauty as well. Of all the things id want explained in super this wouldn't top my list

It's a pink elephant, inspired by the Disney pink elephants.

It's nothing too serious I think.
"Don't take pleasure in destruction!" / "I will not let you destroy my world!"
A true hero goes beyond not the limits of power, but the limits that divide countries and people.

Yeah, I know what you are saying, but I'm just noting the similarities between the color scheme of SSJR and the design of the U10 God of Destruction. Plus, both do have another thing in common, especially Black and this new U10 Destroyer god. Although Black may be regarded as a Kaioshin, but his actions involves eradicating all mortal life. This is an action very genocidal and destructive like, but by no means am I saying that Black might as well be a Hakaishin nor am I saying that Black wants to be one (well, he wants to destroy mortals, but that's not the only thing he's trying to do).

I am aware that this person may be banned, but I still can't help but respond to this since it's in my nature to argue. I guess I have too much enthusiasm.
