Why won't Goku and Vegeta wear their RoF clothes for this new arc?

They'll need to train under Whis before the tournament, and the new clothes are cooler and all. So why won't they wear them?

It must be Toriyama's idea. Black arc they used those outfits because of Vegetto, now who knows why they still use them as they look bad with SSB. Maybe a new transformation is coming and Toriyama designed it to suit Goku's and Vegeta's classic outfits.

Just put two persons together in a the ring and voila! The fusion lasts as long as the ring stays on!

They probably originally swapped them out for merchandise reasons and never switched back because there haven't been any new forms or because of nostalgia.

We haven't had SSJ2 and 3 in the RoF outfits yet, I'd say that is on the Horizon, SSJ3 would probably look strange in it which is why they stayed with these outfits.

I actually prefer the old clothes for Goku, But Vegeta's RoF armour definetely looks better than the old one. but should it Really matter

With how much they're pushing VegeBul it does make it strange in-universe that he isn't wearing the new armor she had made for him.
