We should have got a 17 or Tienshinhan episode

Not two episodes of Krillin crying,scared and self loathing himself. Seriously a way to lead into this new Arc would be to tell stories of characters we need more back story on. What a wasted opportunity. And episode 76 was so unbearable. We get it!

I don't think there's anyone who actually likes Tenshinhan because he stopped having a personality beyond being a stoic badass weakling after the 22nd Budokai. I don't see what they could do with him besides having him train and grunt for 25 minutes.

17 would be cool, though.

Plenty of people like Tien. But nice try to trash him. A disciplined warrior,farmer, who helps the people and land who also gets visits from Lunch and Yamcha. It would have been a great chance to bring Lunch back. Tien in the mountains could be saving people or on a Mystic journey into a forest himself.

17 should have been a must. But we all saw Tien walking down the beach ready for the challenge to come.

Yeah, but this wouldn't bring anything new to the table. Him saving people is your generic Saiyaman episode, without Gohan's playfulness and the comedic aspect of it, and him going on a journey into a forest is what happened these past two episodes with Kuririn, but without the self-improvement theme going on. It would be boring.

Tien is not that interesting to have his own episode through but I'm hoping he does something cool in this tournament like shin kikoho the ring to defeat an opponent or use the dodonpa

17 should have for sure. You can't just reintroduced a character that's been out the loop for several arcs like he's always been in the gang. He definitely needed some build up.

Honestly thought he was going to reappear in episode 76 alongside 18 and Marron watching Krillin. Noticed Krillin didn't fear 17 so maybe 17 is not quite as estranged as we originally thought.

Tien has no real reason to have an episode. His character is not very dynamic, he has very limited character relationships of which to focus on being a lone wolf style kinda guy, and he doesn't have any internal conflicts he must overcome.

And just because I like Krillin and don't think Tien's dynamic doesn't mean I automatically dislike Tien. He just doesn't have much to offer in an episode of his own IMO.

Indeed, we get it. You don't like Krillin. Constantly making posts on these forums and YouTube bashing him isn't going to change anything regarding him and Tien. Both are great characters in their own way. I would of enjoyed if they had a filler with Krillin, Yamcha and Tien together but alas that didn't come to pass. I loved this episode though and thought it was a great build up for Krillin.

There's something ironic/inappropriate/unacceptable about you ending your post with "We get it!" considering your entire agenda thus far as a part of this community has been to bad-mouth Kuririn. This single-minded course of action is curious at best, and unhealthy at worst. Surely you can understand how we would raise an eyebrow when someone storms in with toxic behavior, exclusively posting about a single topic (poorly, at that, might I add).

Moving elsewhere, while Tien's always been a....static character in terms of growing, ever since slice-of-life Super came in I always felt I would've loved to see something along the lines of a Tien babysitter episode. Something along the lines of "Oh crap someone needs to watch Goten and Trunks because of a contrived situation, oh crap everyone else is busy, oh wait hey Tien are you busy---No you aren't, watch these kids." There's obviously comedic potential there, and you're able to have a nice retrospective for the character if you wanted to by demonstrating perhaps Tien feels a little insulted that he's been training all his life but because he's an Earthling, the training he does won't let him keep up with even Saiyan children who just screw around.. Naturally this is after plenty of hijinks and laughs for the kids, because nyuk-nyuk, it's slice-of-life Super. The only issue that arises is that it strikes similarities with episode 43 with the whole Pan adventures, but it's a fresh set of ingredients so while the recipe is the same, the dish could be entirely different.

I'm desperate for this to happen before the tournament start. But I have horribly feeling they are going to skim over any kind of avenue such as that as just give a quick montage of every character training before the tournament. There is so much you could do with 17, especially knowing what he's been up to since the end of the Cell arc. And Tien episode just writes itself with Lunch included.

Krillin is one of the most popular characters in the series. Tenshihan and 17 especially are way lower than him.
