Apparently Nozawa has been wanting to get a Guinness award for a while, so nice to see she finally got it!

23 years is a long damn time (and that's on top of her massive workload for the anime!). I couldn't even fathom being able to stay that dedicated to a role or a series for so long. But here she is, putting out great work to this day. Congratulations, indeed.

...So now we have two Goku VA's in the GWR, & both for video games. XD

Nozawa-san totally deserves it. Goku aside, she has a bunch of win on her BTVA profile even just in general. Doug, Tetsuro, Merryweather, Pidge..pretty talented. & being a legacy character in video games is awesome. We have legacy VAs over here as well, but not so much in video games as they are lower-paid (in Japan they are the highest paid VO)

Hey, if Conroy & Hamill can do it...On that note, it's pretty awesome to have a Japanese (or really any non-English) performer in this high-profile of spotlight. I really wish we had more.

Protip: anyone chosen by the people who work on a show are "true" voices of the character. Jason Lowenberg, Hector Indriago, Yasuyuki Kase, Minoru Inaba, Tessho Genda, Troy Baker, Roberto Inonas - all Batman, as "true" as Kevin Conroy.
