The first 13 episodes of DB

This may have been mentioned on the Podcast where you discussed all the stuff about these episodes, but was the FUNimation Voice Crew used for the dubbing of these episodes & simply distributed by another company (Like FUNi originally releasing the Saiyan & Namek Saga's with the Ocean crew).......now if the FUNi crew was not used, if they were to ever get the rights for the episodes, do you think FUNi would re-dub these episodes?
Vegito: What do you call a Goku & a Vegeta? Gogeta sounds nice.

This has been discussed to death... But the long and short of it is: it was edited and owned by Saban, dubbed by Ocean , and distributed by KidMark/Lions Gate. The rights went to FUNi after Saban's license expired and FUNi redubbed the entire Dragonball series. KidMark retained the distribution license, and has the license indefinately and thus FUNi is trying to work out a deal with them, for a possible Uncut bilingual release of the first 13 episodes in the US.

And you can always get the UNCUT Saga of Goku set which has already been released in Austrailia.

This contains the uncut Funi dub, the Japanese, eps. 1 - 13, but you must be able to play Region 4 & PAL format DVDs.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Hold up, didn't Saban syndicated DBZ, seasons 1 and 2, only? I thought that the syndication rights for the first 13 episodes of DB belonged to a small company called "SeaGulf Productions" or something like that.
