Theorycrafting Frost's return in the universe survival arc

Hi,

As we see in the newest intro for Dragon Ball Super, it looks like Frost will be returning to the show for the upcoming universe survival arc. And as someone who is interested in the "Freeza" race, this has me really excited.

So what can we expect? Will he be a participant or show up for "vengeance"? Did he take Goku's advice an train like Freeza? Has it been longer then four months between the Universe 6v7 tournament? Did he achieve his version of the "Golden" form? And unlike Freeza, did he master this form to negate the Stamina drain?

Interested in hearing some other thoughts on the topic.

I do not remember goku giving him any advice to train whatsoever..
Frost should achieve the golden form and hopefully master it so rof's newly introduced form wouldn't be a waste.

Giving frost the same stamina drain issues as freeza is predictable and boring, instead we should get to see how much of a beast the golden freeza from could have been if properly mastered..

P.S. I was craving for a golden frost image for quite sometime, must say it looks pretty fantastic

I believe Goku told Frost this in the Manga version of the Universe 6v7 tournament.

Then it's definitely gonna amount to something, if frost wasn't supposed to power up I doubt Toyotaro would put that line there, anime probably wants it to be a surprise

Well, we proved that the golden tint of Frieza was a choice, not a must for the upgrade.
So Frost obviously will get a boost, but there's no exact reason for him to choose "gold" as a color. That tint was, to me, a kinda mime of SSJ that Frieza hated so much.
Frost lose by Blue, so... maybe a silver, or a blue Frost. Or another tint he feel expressive.

Frost only saw and lost to regular super saiyan 1 though (he never saw super saiyan blue). At least in the Anime.

Ops, my fault, I meant he haven't any historical grudge against SSJ, and Goku is already above that.

If Frost is a mutant with the same potential as Freeza and he's been training this whole time, he's going to be extremely OP and will have a huge role... or he could get taken down early on in the tournament by Super Krillin. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Silver would be great.

I'm hoping frost will come back stronger with the golden form or equivalent.i want frost to have one of the early fights, however i dont want him to fight any u7 fighters but rather a different universe fighter (toppo for example) and loose. i think that way it will show just how strong the universe fighters are.
