According to DB Wiki, Vermoud the Clown God of Destruction is played by Masami Kikuchi, best known for his role as Tenchi Muyo (title character) and Keichi Morisato (from the OH MY GODDESS series).
It's always nice IMO when a veteran voice actor gets a role in DB. I do not know if this comes under gag casting though (he has played harem-owning characters, and his Angel is the prettiest in the bunch). But I think he'll deliver well.
"Don't take pleasure in destruction!" / "I will not let you destroy my world!"
A true hero goes beyond not the limits of power, but the limits that divide countries and people.

I am looking forward to this, especially since his involvement with ah my goddess..
It's always nice to see it mentioned, it doesn't get nearly as much praise as it should.. One of the best ones out there

He was underwhelming as Monaca. I didn't feel his performance at all. Hopefully, he can do a good job for Vermoud. But, I don't think Vermoud will get that many lines, so I highly doubt it'll be anything special.

I didnt quite like his voice acting with Vermoud, seems lackluster, tho he only had a few lines, I'm having a hard time taking Vermoud seriously because of this clown being a good GoD that likes his pride troopers justice gig, how can a GoD whose job stands for destruction be ok with justice? I'm just not a fan since destruction and justice doesnt blend well for me at least.

I thought for a second that you insulted Masami Kikuchi by calling him a clown for a minute there! He is the GoD that is literally a clown! Phew! Thank god!

While Gods of Destruction like Beerus and Champa seem to select targets for purely capricious reasons, it isn't unthinkable there'd be other Gods of Destruction who destroy out of a sense of justice, deliberately targeting evil-doers or planets that are in some way a danger to others.

Tomokazu Sugita, my friend, now that's someone I've been waiting for some time now to get a role on this franchise.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.
Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

Indeed, we can only hope. At first I really wanted Tomokazu to voice Vermoud, I hope someday we can hear him in the franchise. That would be a dream come true.

I third Tomokazu Sugita. He's done some fun stuff.
On hiatus.
