Is Piccolo the MVP of the Universe 7 team?

Is Piccolo the MVP of the Universe 7 team?

One of the main ideas for this arc is that it won't just be enough to be powerful, strategy and teamwork are necessary to win in this tournament.

Personally, I believe this means Piccolo is the most valuable asset to the team. I'm sure we won't end up being the one who ultimately saves the day, thats just not happening. But from the way Super is framing this whole thing, he seems to be the ideal character for this sort of thing.

We don't know exactly how powerful Piccolo is, since the power scale is currently out of whack, but it is clear that he should be able to hold his own against more powerful opponents even if he can't overpower them. If Goku and Vegeta are 10's and Roshi is a 1. I think it's fair to to but Piccolo somewhere between 5-7.

But even with him not being the most powerful, Piccolo will probably outclass his opponents in Strategy and Teamwork. He has the most experience along with Kuririn and Gohan in fighting as a group in these large, high stakes battles, also, I'm sure he will be presented as the smartest of the group and will probably be integral in helping the other characters come up with strategies to knock opponents of the ring. To be fair, he should probably be team captain!

As a Piccolo fan, I am stoked. I think this arc has the potential to fix the main problem that was present in the last tournament, which was everyone but Goku and Vegeta being inconsequential.

He was apparently able to take advantage of Gohan's weaknesses even though he was overall weaker (perhaps already weaker when Gohan went SS2, to boot); I agree he just might be the most suited for this kind of competition.

He does seem to be the most viable candidate for this kind of thing. But that might mean that he gets the short end of the stick again. What if he gets poisoned again or something like that? :lolno:

Well, if it's NATURAL poison........

At least they aren't poison-laced chopsticks :lol:
