Prediction: Universe 9 will be erased before the ToF

Like it says.
More like a wild guess uniting some scenes and pieces of dialog (care to guess what I'm talking about)?
Not passionate about the theory but there goed my two cents.

i think that will most likely happen. universe 9 already had their screen time in the exhibition match. also they cant seem to find enough fighters and the fact they are the weakest universe doesn't make them threatening at all.

also i think some of universe 7 fighters will fight in teams (apart from frieza,goku and vegeta) based on the ending credits (boogie back).

tien, roshi and krillin vs damon (universe 4)
17 and 18 vs murichim (universe 10)
gohan and piccolo vs nigrishi and narirama (universe 3)
frieza vs cabba, kale and kaulifla (universe 6)
vegeta vs ribraine (universe 2)
goku vs jiren (universe 11)

this leaves out a universe which will most likely be universe 9

No they won't and who said they're the weakest universe? Maybe the a 3rd world country compared to other universes but that has nothing to do with strength.

I like this theory, but why did they tease Goku vs. Bergamo in the opening theme, then?

We also saw another Wolf fighter in the intro. So maybe he is from U9.

Yes, there are some signs to believe this.

The time is ending and they have found zero new warriors. We've already seen the danger trio in action, they will give more spotlight to the new ones like that. Sidra is clearly cheating interfering with other universe recruitments, they may be punished for that.

But I'd prefer if they remained for the tournament. They could always serve as Yamchas, I mean, being eliminated fast just to show how strong other fighters are. We'll loose seven new characters if they don't.

Furry people live in Universe 7 and we've seen furry people in Universe 11 as well, so the dude in the opening could be completely unrelated to Universe 9.
He has a very different look to the wolf brothers, he kinda doesn't look like a wolf to me to be honest, more like a fox.

The opening and closing credits are not really spoilers, even if they have scenes that would possibly take place in upcoming episodes. Remember Buu was heavily promoted in the credits and posters, now his character is in a deep slumber and can't compete in the TOP.

So I can imagine OP predictions might be on the money. However, I do wish U9 did find more fighters and entered the upcoming tournament.

Very true. I won't be surprised to learn that two universes didn't qualify, that being U9 and U4.
