Say that Gohan needs even more latent power drawn out to be of further use in later arcs and bugs Rou Kaioshin again, would the technique work a second time? How about with Saichoro's ability as well? What if Goku drank another cup of divine holy water?
Would their potential be drawn out further or is each technique operated on a one-time-only basis? If so then does that mean they're entitled to use each individual technique in succession I.e someone drinks the water, is touched by Saichoro, and then patiently awaits Rou Kaioshin to finish?

I say the ability would be successfully repurposed into tapping into the larger sum of potential that the character has developed since the last release. Gohan technically had his potential released twice yet we know he's still capable of growing in power afterwards. Breaking through those ceilings and venturing into new realms of power is what Dragon Ball is all about. Gohan's "Ultimate" status would be elevated up to a far higher plateau. You might very well be looking at a new & improved iteration of him that's eclipsed SSJB Goku with his Kaioken x20. In my opinion, no one sans Jiren and Ultra Instinct Goku would be able to overtake him. Kefla might come closer than most but she would still be outclassed.

I used to think that Guru's technique unlocked one's potential at that point in time, while Elder Kai's technique unlocked all the potential one would ever have. Therefore, Gohan would never get any stronger than when he fought Buu. But since Super has shown him growing in power to become god-tier, I see no reason for it to not work a second time.
P.S. Wasn't the Divine Water a scam anyway? Didn't one become stronger by climbing the tower, the water having nothing to do with it?

That happened the first time Goku climbed the tower, when Goku(or rather Yajirobe carrying him up) climbed the second time is when Karin revealed there really was divine water but that it was potentially fatal to drink it. Since King Piccolo had used the DBs to restore his youth & power, Goku had no other choice but to chance it and he ingested it with extreme pain. He came to a brief time later as healthy and his strength boosted significantly along with an incomplete ability to sense Ki, making Goku the first one to ever survive it.Zillamon51 wrote:P.S.
