About Dragon Ball Manga Prices

Post by the1payday » Mon Sep 11, 2006 9:35 am

Ok guys here's the deal...

I currently own volumes 1-42 of the American Shonen Jump Dragon Ball Graphic novels, the whole set. They are all in 100& PERFECT store bought condition. I'm wanting to sell them on e-bay, but I don't want to get ripped off or anything so...

1. How much should I try to sell them for?
2. What should I set my opening bid at?

If any of you guys could help me out I would appreciate it a whole lot. Thanks.

I'll take them off you for £30. Nah, sorry I'm just kidding. I really don't know how much they would all be worth.

Um... well, dependng on how much you were to charge for shipping, anywhere from $5-7 seems about right.

Unless you were to sell them to me, then .50 each would be good.

No...I think i was misunderstood. I'm not selling them all individually, I'm selling them all as one complete set.

Yeah, exactly, I would put them at about 7 bucks each which means...uh.... 7 times 42....is.....y-you do the math!! But here's the real question: Why are you selling all 42 volumes of your DB manga?! That's crazy man!

Your selling them!

Say around $350.

They may be in excellent condition but you can pick them up easily brand new.

Quick question, why are you selling them for?

I'm mainly selling them because although I still love and cherish my DB manga set... I have read them all at least 30+ times each. I'm not exaggerating. I really enjoyed them, but when I find myself trying to re-read any of them, I can't because i've read them too much.

Do you guys seriously think I should ask a total price that would average around $7.00 per volume? I don't think I would be able to get that much. Also...is anyone on here interested in buying them?

I'd like to persuade you to keep them, even though you (like me) have read them way too much to pick them up all that often anymore. Just say about 20 years pass and you want to read them again, and they aren't available anywhere and thus leaving you "screwed over".

Yeah.

I understand regretting it later and I am by no means going to sell them. I just want to know a good price to go for in case I do. At this point i'm about 50-50 on wanting to keep and sell them. Thanks for the help.

I need all the "Z" books, I don't know if you're willing to sell them like that.

Why don't you make your mind up and let people know your going to sell them if you decide to let them go.

At the moment this topic is forever going when it doesn't need to be.

People have already recommended a price for you if you do decide to sell.
